Grandma's Barn Club

I assume everyone has seen the movie Fight Club? I've seen it, but not until recently. Mostly I was reluctant because it had Brad Pitt in it, and at the time he was at the peak of his popular likeability among girls and women from 12-60 years old. Therefore, nobody that I had great movie picking respect for told me to check it out. I saw it on TV eventually, and the twists, turns, and social commentary were pretty good. Anyway, this is what happens when something so real gets in the minds of someone so in love with Brad Pitt's face.

yeah, kinda like THIS club. except with the self-immolation.

btw, i'm pretty sure that *I* recommended that you might want to see this movie QUITE some time ago... so know my self-concept of your concept of me is solidified. if you enjoyed "fight club" you might enjoy other books by its author, chuck palahniuk, whose name may or may not be spelled as such.

finally, regarding the guy from ottertail county... it's a really sad story, him trying to get away from previous bad "cycles" and all. i understand. also, it's particularly sad when one is unable to even have an original psychosis. i guess that MK-ULTRA is working TOO well.

Yeah, that author (spelled similarily anyway) was just at UW speaking. I should have gone to see him, but I instead went tonight to hear a nun speak about the death penalty. The nun was in fact the real nun from the movie "Dead Man Walking." It was pretty interesting to see a religious figure talk about real Christianity, the kind that real religious people aspire to emulate, not the kind that the leading majority speak hypocritically about. Fuckers...
