Apparently we're again open to the anonymous post bullshit. No, your blog is nothing like this one asshole. It's all about roping us into your dental plan. Do you see anything about any sort of caring plan on this site? Hmmm. Gifted Child? Okay.

i haven't read the Ozzfest review yet... I'm waiting for the perfect moment(s). in the meantime, the gifted children site makes me remember that IQ cannot be measured with a rectal thermometer, no sir; it can only be measured by precise use of wordses.

the tooth site reminds me that dentists are such bastards. i mean, really, they don't do much, i think. orthodontists, sure. but the basic dentist? -- interested in one thing only: raping your mouth while you're out cold in that chair.

but anyway, i LIKE the anonymous random commments! why THIS post, i wonder? any ideas? i was thinking, you should have posters up with the address to this site, or hand out business cards, or make a t-shirt, or sponsor a blimp.

I don't know why this post attracted these anonymous, probably automatic, postings. You're definitely right about dentists, they're scammers and schemers. I've contended this for several years now due in part to the knowing of people who wanted to attend dental school. Do you think they really are passionate about teeth? Not likely, but usually they like golf and womanizing (and later any mouth will do) as you alluded to earlier. And you're right about the advertising; that might be the objective of our commercial that will hopefully soon air in the Red River Valley.

I can't wait for the potential commercial. It's enticing.

The review was great. I think that, you know, some dudes are there just to say "Fuck Yeah!" and maybe fight you. BUT... they need their "safe space." Treat them well, and heaven will be yours.*

I never thought about Sabbath that way, but it's true -- they invented a form. Iron Maiden owes them royalties. But you know, Maiden took it to the next level -- the level of placing *themselves* into the sci-fi world they created, going so far as to ride ATVs in the desert for a photo shoot. They wanted you, the listener, to know one thing: they really knew Eddie personally, and they feared him (at times).

But, overall, Sabbath is more appropriately listening for your next AD&D game (1st edition rules).

But what about King Diamond, you ask? He was a pussy. He works at a Shell station now, for chrissakes! "I'll take a king-sized Snickers too, King Diamond." "Can't do it, bub." Yes, that's right; King Diamond likes to talk like Wolverine sometimes.

I always wondered whether Bruce Dickinson was short, and based on your description, I guess that he is, indeed.

Anyway, I know the show was only from the first 4 albums, which is hardcore and all, but wouldn't it have been nice to hear just one song from "Somewhere in Time"? Or maybe 3, as a medley?

I'd like to see a Megadeth show like that, where you know there will be only songs from the first 3 albums. Better yet: a similar Metallica show. Best yet: Phil Collins, only Sususudio performed.

Well, anyway, I'm glad you had a semi-good, 100% interesting time at the 'fest. You are a dedicated fan, and you deserve autographs. Did you get any?

Finally, I will indeed submit a review of a past concert by In Flames, soon. Promise.

Yeah, King Diamond is a pussy. He was second to say, "I'm a true satanist... truly evil." Second, that is, after Venom. Motley Crue, etc. follows this trend. Then Motley Crue said, "pussy rules!" The computer concurs. Anyway, Venom too started a "sub-trend," but it was simply used to gain attention. Now there is true satanists in metal, not to mention pagans. I'm sure Venom greatly regrets any trouble they caused. Of course, the ironic part is that the very bands that so easily stole Black Sabbath chords and themes, used them to portray the opposite ideals. Everyone always thought Black Sabbath was so dark, yet in reality, as previously said, it was intended to point out societal hyposcrisies. Interesting.

Regarding Maiden again... yes, I wouldn't have minded hearing a few tunes from Powerslave or Somewhere in Time. Also I wanted to hear Fear of the Dark. However, if I had to pick four consecutive albums or a particular period of Maiden, I probably would have picked the earlier stuff or the beginning. The only song that I'm not a huge fan of (yes, I am a HUGE fan... husky, big-boned) is Running Free, which was there first single if I'm not mistaken. They had a different lead singer back then, and the music is clearly different. If I had to pick four consecutive albums, I would take The Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, Powerslave, and Somewhere in Time. Nobody got to pick four albums though did they? Yeah, I know.

In other and unrelated news, I went to Chicago yesterday because Nolan Wahl was there for a hockey tournament. Tennessee is no good at hockey, but taking the train downtown is fun nonetheless. "Watch out for terror attacks," is my motto.
