Wobblies: anarchists?

The IWW, an organization that built the foundation of unionism here in the states and (in Madison) lives in our TAA office, is at it again. What are they up to now, you ask as you sigh and roll your eyes with disgust. Well, they're out and about anarchy-ing around with torches and Richard Nixon masks, that's what. Typical Marxist brainwashing is what it is. Those Commies have it all backwards with their "right to organize" and their "worker rights" bullshit.

Ahhh, that blogging was just my clever way to stay under the radar of the FBI. You see, the IWW wants a grant from the TAA here to organize downtown workers (4000 employees total). Anyway, they made their plea to us last night at our general membership meeting and left some literature. Upon reading the newsletter/paper, I was astounded to see that some of the memebership has been forcefully interviewed by the FBI recently. Maybe it's just one or two isolated cases, but nonetheless, it appears that the forces that be still fear anti-capitalist actions. I mention anti-capitalist because the individual that was questioned was asked (among other things), whether or not she was an anarchist, a terrorist, or anti-capitalist. That's funny. Apparently, part of the information gathered came from an online journal, hence my reason for laying low. However, it's quite tempting to test this out to see what might happen. For example, I could say that a revolution is necessary, and we need to come together as a people and march in the streets against the burgeouise power structure. There, now you try. Check this out for related info. on FBI crushings.

well, their organization has taxpayer-funded agents in it, most likely. counter-intel, disinformation campaigns at work in their midst. it's all the rage, very hot these days. people think they're working for one side, and they end up working for the other. read "a scanner darkly" by philip k. dick for further paranoid concepts. also "naked lunch," of course. also read "the sixties," which isn't a book at all but rather a series of self-defeats at the hands of lunatics and self-proclaimed revolutionaries who were mostly on uncle sam's payroll.

maybe don't give them the "grant money," is the bottom line. i mean, organizing all the downtown workers? what are the chances? also, why do they need money for that? also, when was the last time that anarchists convinced anyone of anything? (french revolution?)

B.O.R.T. remains, as always, a nihilist.

Just want to let you know that I'm in full support of the IWW and actually argued strongly as an executive board for $1000 or more. Their membership is growing daily, I said.

Also I'm a crazy bastard, and I post multiple times on occasion, causing you so miss a few good ones here and there, or maybe the incoherence of the posts is repulsive to you. I beat Son-Son today. Eat your heart out Steve.

it's cool that you support them, their intentions are good of course. i feel bad for their members, getting harassed like you mentioned. too bad that these things aren't more widely disseminated. then again, people like to believe that it'll never happen to them.

regarding your myriad posts, i DO read them all. i might miss them by a few days, mind you. see below for reply to the one about the prophetic bear toy et al. i don't think they're incoherent -- your thinking just outpaces mine, so i'm left to fall into the passive consumer role, enjoying your new content but feeling no pressure to produce any myself. until you pressure me, that is.
