"China Turns Out Mummified Bodies for Displays"

Check it out... you might have to create a free registration for the NY Times (which is worth it, anyway, because it seems to be, as a philosophy professor once told me, the "secular bible").

My overall opinion is quite complex and you wouldn't understand anyway, but really I'm just using this as an excuse so I don't have to sit with my hands to the keys for hours. My typing style lacks both zip and zap.

Generally though, I felt like I was shopping at Wal-Mart whilst viewing this exhibit. Kind of guilty on one hand for *possibly* supporting slave labor and bounty hunting, but also, because it's in the name of education, I felt like I (and everyone else) could take away something beneficial. At Wal-Mart, the beneficial takings include 70 lbs of frozen shrimp and a friendly handshake from the friendly doorman. But, the real problem is the merchandising, grandiose advertising schemes, and general bravado of the creator and henchmen (I have a feeling). Interestingly enough, I found little visual or scientific stimulation after about 20 minutes of viewing. Since I knew that I may be looking at murdered Chinese political prisoners and peasants, however, I had a lot of sociological stimulation. It was a relief from all of the "medical type" comments being made by local students and maximum experts. I figure the next step is the harvesting of our corpses for more interesting and more diverse uses. Like Soylent Green, only without the tasteless, green protein crunch. Instead, research will provide spice-riffic, mouth-watering, delicious delights. Now that's the kind of human sacrifice that pleases MY Gods.
